When first asked to participate in my city’s annual Black Book Fair, I hesitated. Why? It was held on my birthday. At least that was my surface excuse. Digging deeper, I realized my hesitation was based in fear. I faced it. Got over it. Participated and absolutely loved it.
As a featured author, I was blessed to join the company of fellow scribes discussing the subject, “Black Books Matter.” Hubby was in the audience and captured my moment.
