This book is so laugh out loud funny. But it also had some REALLY serious moments. Definitely recommending it for readers who like comedy, faith, and romance.
Joy has to be one of the funniest characters ever. She's sassy, bold, and very unique. Her struggle with her faith and agnosticism was real because of past tragic experiences. But I'm so glad she eventually opened her heart and let both God and Quinton in! And Quinton? Mmm, mmm, mmm. That's a good man!
This book touched on so many important aspects for people of color and women. It definitely spoke loudly for Black Women. Albeit fiction, thank you for giving voice to so many of our experiences.
This is an exciting and excellent read. Its full of adventure and spiritual truths. It's next level reading for the spiritual romantic. This and the sequel will not disappoint. I could not put it down. Thank you Suzette, you truly bring your characters to life.
Great read! This book touched on a few topics that are not warm and fuzzy. Joy, is a loveable character who had to go through some trials in order to grow and reconnect with her Father. Read. You won't be disappointed.
