Tavares, well known retired basketball player and single father, meets Yazmeen, single mother to adorable twins. Both are not looking for a relationship, because of past baby mama and baby daddy drama, but they find their way to each other and slowly build a relationship. There are many twists and turns in their story, but experience their beautiful ending!

I fell in love too. Lol. This was beautiful from beginning to end. It shows how God creates beauty from ashes

I wasn’t expecting to laugh out loud in so many places but I did!! This book was really good and had me burning the midnight oil for real for real with these characters! The author did an amazing job of developing each character! The heroine and the hero were amazing and had great personalities! The various themes and struggles in this book were so real! Single saved celibate my goodness only with God can it be done! Working to make marriage work and raise babies also only with God!

What an amazing story. So funny, so touching, so full of twists and turns and just enough for you to find that God is always in control no matter what is going on. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and now I'm looking for more. You are another author I will follow and await the next new thing.

This book was everything ! I truly enjoyed reading about Yazmeen. Without spoiling this story for anyone. I just want to say I laughed out loud ,I cried and even screamed Oh No! when I say this book has everything, it has everything. I have to add this in book one I was introduced to Joy’s cousin “Day-day ☺️ He appears in this book as well and had me shaking my head thinking “everybody” could benefit from having a cousin like him.
